Externally threaded jewelry

Externally threaded jewelry

jump to contentmy subreddits

limit my search to /r/Legitpiercinguse the following search parameters to narrow your results:see the search faq for details. Unfortunately, there is way too much outdated, misunderstood, or flat out incorrect information readily available online about body piercing, jewelry, aftercare, and healing. The moderators of /r/LegitPiercing are all professional piercers who care very strongly for safe, successful piercings, which means continued education, up to date information and techniques, quality and beautiful jewelry, and troubleshooting advice that won do more harm then help.

Can I post here if I not a piercer?

Totally! Piercers and clients / piercing enthusiasts are both welcome to post here. Please try to give credit to your piercer, and the brand of jewelry if possible!

Can I ask for help finding a piercer in my area?

Absolutely! You can either post a vague idea of your location zip code, for example, or if you are more comfortable, message any of the moderators here and we will try and put you in touch with a reputable piercer in your area.

Can I ask for help with my piercing?

Yes! When asking for help with a piercing where to find jewelry, troubleshooting, bumps etc, try to give us as much information as possible. Include things like jewelry brand, material, size, what you doing for aftercare, what the problem is in detail, etc. A clear photo also helps.

Can I offer advice here if I not a piercer?

Yes, however, to make sure only safe and effective advice is found here, we will be moderating the comments regularly. If you are unsure about your advice, or would just like to be careful as there is lots of bad info out there, we ask that you simply refrain from posting it. Anecdotal advice such as I used a travel pillow to sleep when I got my ear pierced! is great, advice such as Use Asprin Paste to get rid of that Keloid! is not.
